Hi Guru's, We are using Oracle WMS and after the upgrade to the replacement bundle we see some rules with the note of 'Deprecated'. Some of these rules we are using so I'm actually curious what's going to happen with it. Is there going to be a replacement setting? Or is the rule going to go away altogether? Rules we use that are outdated: * (Deprecated) Consolidate item fulfillments by sales order? * (Deprecated) Define item barcode type * (Deprecated) Stage picked items before shipping? * (Deprecated) Use custom RF menu items? Comments per rule: * I think the 'Create Item Fulfillment At Locations Using Warehouse Management' is the replacement of this rule but what is meant by a 'Released order'?* Note, we pick 1 sales order over 2 days with different Waves but we only need 1 Item fulfillment because of the packing slip (we only can use 1). * What is the best solution for this issue * We are using GS1 Barcode scanning, is this still possible or how do we have to set this up? * We stage all items before shipment. will this be a new standard Rule? or what is the replacement for this proces? * Is it in the future still possible to use Custom RF menu's? at the moment we don't use it but we will in the future, big question is how when this rule is Deprecated. Hi @Toanne Termeer, Apologies for the late revert on this thread. As you have several questions, it took me sometime to test for it. Here are my answers: * Staging to outbound bins is now a Default?* Yes. For warehouse locations that use bins, pick tasks are completed after the staging of picked items in outbound staging bins. * And GS1 barcode scanning is default available (without using the WMS rule)?* To begin your bar code setup, you must activate the Enable Advanced Barcode Scanning? system rule. For each warehouse location, you can enable GS1, HIBC, or Composite bar code, but not all formats. * What is the meaning of a released order at the setup 'Per Order' with the 'Create Item Fulfillment At Locations Using Warehouse Management' setting?* Released Order refers to a warehouse order that has been approved and sent (released) to the warehouse team for fulfillment. This is a key step in the order fulfillment process. To know more how to release an order, check this SuiteAnswers article. Releasing Orders to the Warehouse. * With testing it seems that the behavior is the same as Per Order in a Wave. I'm looking for the difference between these to setups.* Per Order - Generate an item fulfillment for each released order.* Thus, if you create a Wave for a Sales Order, the Item Fulfillment would only be generated once all the Items have been Picked accordingly for the related Wave. Example: 1 Sales Order =1 Item Fulfillment * Per Order Line - Generate an item fulfillment for each line item of a released order.* If you create a Wave for a Sales Order with multiple line items (for example: 3 line items), this would create multiple Item Fulfillments as well when the Items have been Picked. Example: 3 Line Items = 3 Item Fulfillment * Per Order in a Wave - Generate an item fulfillment for one or more released line items of an order in a wave. * You can generate a fulfillment regardless of other lines from the same order that may be included in other waves. If there are 2 Sales Orders in a 1 Wave, the Item Fulfillments would still be generated per release line items. * Isn't there a standard solution for a consolidated packing slip with multiple item fulfillments?* This is a known system limitation and is currently logged under Enhancement #121360: Sales orders>Consolidated fulfillment: Use of one single shipment id to consolidate multiple order fulfillment transactions that have been picked and packed for shipment to a single customer at a single address. * Kindly refer to this SuiteAnswers article for more information on searching and voting for enhancements: Voting for Enhancements * If not, i think we have to create a custom proces via script for the consolidate packingslip with mulitple item fulfillments.* The related enhancement does not have any workaround. Kindly reach out to your Account Manager for possible engagement with our Advanced Customer Support team to consult if this is possible through scripting. Hi Guru's,

We are using Oracle WMS and after the upgrade to the replacement bundle we see some rules with the note of 'Deprecated'.
