NSC | Saved Search for Tracking Expiring Lots
Scenario
You are an inventory manager who wants to proactively monitor and manage inventory with upcoming expiration dates to minimize waste. You aim to create a saved search that shows lots with expiration dates within the upcoming week and their respective bin locations.
Solution
- Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New
- Select Inventory Balance search
- Enter a search Title
- On the Criteria tab > Standard subtab, add filters as needed, e.g:
- Item : Inactive is False
- Item : Is Lot Numbered Item is True
- Inventory Number : Expiration Date is within next week
- On Hand is greater than 0
- On the Results tab, add the columns such as:
