How does Lot Pricing work in Purchase Contracts? What is the Max amount field for?

Hi

For the help topic on 'Purchase Contracts', I find the following text confusing and wanted to clarify what it means:

Is this saying the price per unit is $50 ?

Or does it mean that, "once you have reached a certain pricing tier, your entire purchase is at at fixed rate of $50"?

The phrase, "all units in the lot have a set price" is causing the confusion.

I also wanted to clarify when the max amount field applies?

The Maximum Amount is the currency amount used to determine the required approval level, if you use approval routing. For more information, see
