NSC | How to Create a Read-Only Field
Navigate to Customization > List, Records, & Fields > Transaction Body Fields > New
Click Dropdown for Display Type
On the Dropdown you can either select Inline Text or Disabled, both would work as Read Only Text.
Save and navigate to the Record where you applied the Custom Transaction Body Field, in this Sample we choose Purchase Order.
Even in edit mode, field is not editable. This will also work on other Custom Fields such as Transaction Line Fields, Item Fields or CRM Fields.
