NSC | Workflow: Preventing Email Blocking by Adding Unique Identifiers to Subjects

edited Aug 5, 2025 9:54PM in SuiteCloud / Customization

Sometimes, recipient domains block transactional emails with identical subject lines, treating them as spam. To address this issue, you need to update the Workflow Send Email action by adding a unique identifier to the email subject.

To do this you can follow steps below:

1. Navigate to Customization > Workflow > Workflows > New

2. Preferred Workflow: Click Edit

3. Select State

4. Select Actions > New Action

5. Select Send Email

6. Parameters:

Content:

Custom: Enter Checkmark

Subject: Enter {tranid}

Note:
Insert the {tranid} within the original subject to be used as a unique identifier.

7. Click Save

Note:
{tranid} pertains to the Transaction Number.
For other fields that can be included on the Subject, refer to
