NSC | How to Calculate Last Modified Date using Custom Field

edited Aug 8, 2025 4:56PM in SuiteCloud / Customization

Imagine you want to track when a specific record was last updated for reporting or auditing purposes, but you need that information in a custom field for easier access or filtering. Instead of relying solely on system notes, you can create a custom formula field to display the last modified date. This allows you to surface the latest update timestamp directly on the record, making it easier to monitor changes at a glance.

Navigate to Customization > List, Records, & Fields > [select field type] > New. In this example we will use transaction body field.

Name the field for example "Days from last modified"
