Action Required: Resolve Content-Type Mismatch for Commerce Websites

edited May 20, 2025 1:03PM in Announcements

This notice is intended for customers who are using an older version of SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) or Site Builder. Changes to the behavior of Content-Type headers may affect some custom SuiteScript Server Page (SSP) applications. If you are using the standard version of SuiteCommerce, this may also affect your web store, so you need to confirm your custom SSP applications are correctly set up.This change will be enabled for your account, starting June 9th, 2025.

What is Changing?

Starting June 9th, 2025, the behavior of Content-Type headers will be updated. After the update, a check will be performed to confirm that the Content-Type defined in the header matches the web page content. These changes ensure that content is processed securely and correctly. To avoid any loss of website functionality, you must complete the required actions.
