Users often need to create lead records without accessing or modifying full customer details. By customizing entry forms, administrators can limit visibility to the Customer Form during lead creation. This approach helps streamline data entry and align with internal controls.
Companies may want to create leads without access to the Customer Form to:
- Control access – Prevent users from viewing or editing sensitive customer data.
- Simplify workflows – Allow faster, easier lead entry with fewer fields.
- Enforce process – Keep leads separate from customers until properly qualified.
- Maintain compliance – Support data governance and limit access to regulated information.
You can disable the customer form when creating a lead record by editing the custom entry form:
