New to NetSuite | Permissions > Transactions Subtab
When starting out with NetSuite, understanding how permissions work is essential to managing your business data securely and effectively. One of the most important areas to focus on is the Transactions subtab within the permissions settings. This subtab controls the actions users can take on transaction records.
By carefully assigning permissions in the Transactions subtab, administrators can ensure that users have access only to the functions they need to perform their roles. This helps prevent accidental data errors, protects sensitive information, and supports a smooth workflow across departments.
According to Permissions Documentation, there are 156 different permissions under the Transactions subtab, covering a wide range of transaction types and actions. These permissions allow for granular control, meaning you can customize exactly what each user or role can view, create, edit, approve, or delete.
