As part of our ongoing New to NetSuite series, we’ve previously explored the New to NetSuite | Permissions and delved into the New to NetSuite | Permissions > Setup.. In this article, we’ll focus on one specific and powerful permission within this category: Accounting Preferences

The Accounting Preferences permission provides users with access to configure a wide range of critical system and transaction settings in NetSuite. This permission is key for tailoring the platform’s behavior to match your organization's accounting policies and operational needs.

With this permission, users can manage preferences related to:
