NSC | Custom Field Types: Password
In NetSuite, Custom Fields allow users to tailor records and forms to fit specific business needs. These fields can be added to standard or custom records and can be configured in various data types depending on the nature of the data to be stored or captured.
In this article, we'll tackle on the Password field type.
Description:
The Password custom field type in NetSuite is used to collect and store sensitive, masked input values, such as authentication keys or access codes. When users enter data in a Password field, the characters are hidden (displayed as asterisks or dots), similar to traditional password fields in web forms. The data entered is encrypted in the database (maximum 15 characters).
