NSC | Custom Field Types: Percent
In NetSuite, Custom Fields allow users to tailor records and forms to fit specific business needs. These fields can be added to standard or custom records and can be configured in various data types depending on the nature of the data to be stored or captured.
In this article, we'll tackle on the Percent field type.
Description:
A Percent field allows users to input a number that is automatically treated and displayed as a percentage. Internally, NetSuite stores these values as decimal numbers (e.g., 15% is stored as 0.15) but displays them in a user-friendly percentage format (15%). The information entered in the field can be only an integer from 0 to 100.
