In NetSuite, Custom Fields allow users to tailor records and forms to fit specific business needs. These fields can be added to standard or custom records and can be configured in various data types depending on the nature of the data to be stored or captured.
In this article, we'll tackle on the Text Area field type.
Description:
The Text Area custom field type in NetSuite is used for entering and storing medium-length plain text, such as comments, internal notes, or brief descriptions. Unlike free-form text fields (which are limited in length), Text Area fields allow for multi-line input with a moderate character limit. Text Area lets you enter up to 4,000 characters of text in a custom field.
