New to NetSuite | Restrictions on Editing Parent and Child Subsidiary Fields
When managing subsidiary records in the system, there are certain fields that cannot be edited directly in either the parent or child subsidiaries. These restrictions are in place to maintain the integrity of key business information and ensure consistency across the system.
Fields That Cannot Be Edited in the Parent Subsidiary
In the parent subsidiary, the following fields cannot be edited or have their selection states changed. If you need to update any of these values, you will need to delete the existing record and create a new one with the updated information:
- Always Display Subsidiary Name state
- Subsidiary Logo (Forms)
