MANUFACTURING WIP&ROUTING: Is it possible to use a different currency on Other Charge item?
Context: All items and subsidiaries are set in PHP base currency. However, the item costs are actually set in USD.
For example, I have Assembly X which has components RM1, RM2, RM3.
Assembly X has Standard Cost of 500.
RM1: Standard Cost: 100
RM2: Standard Cost: 150
RM3: Standard Cost: 50
In MFG Cost Template of Assembly X,
Labor Cost: USD1.00 per hour
I would use this Labor Cost to MFG Routing, let's say Assembly operation.
Here's my failed attempt:
On Labor Cost (Other Charge Item), I set a Preferred Vendor on USD and input on Purchase Price field USD1.00. When I opened the MFG Cost Template of Assembly X for that Labor Cost, it showed me Run Rate = PHP56.00 (now it works!!! JUST on the Cost template)
