Restricting/Filtering Price Level Access via Customer Location and/or Currency
SCENARIO:
- Company has three (3) price levels that are only intended for CAD customers
- Company has three (3) price levels that are only intended for USD customers
- Company has three (3) "special" price levels that are only intended for USD customers
Company does not want the "special" USD price levels to be selectable when a Sales Order is being created in Canada.
- Setting the CAD (currency) pricing fields for the "special" USD Price Levels to = Null (or $0.00) is not an acceptable solution (for us) because the user creating the Sales Order could accidentally sell that item at $0.00 without noticing.
- The functionality of defaulting to Base Price also does not work (perhaps worse), because then the user creating the Sales Order could enter that Base Price without noticing and then the rate would be unsuitable/incorrect.
