New to NetSuite | Create Subsidiary Records
As the final step in utilizing the OneWorld feature, this article will guide you through Creating a Subsidiary Record.
I. To create a subsidiary record:
1. Go to Setup > Company > Subsidiaries > New
2. Complete the following required fields:
- Name: Enter up to 83 alphanumeric characters for the name of the subsidiary
- Parent Subsidiary: Select the parent if you are creating a child subsidiary.
- State/Province: Select the state or province.
- Country: Select the country
- Language: Select the default language for NetSuite users in this subsidiary. If the subsidiary uses multiple languages, select the default language for NetSuite users in the subsidiary.
