Contract Renewals Feature Bug

Hi guys!

We are trying to understand how is possible for a client purchased the "Contract Renewals" add-on, Contracts to be created without link to an SO. Those contracts are wrong as without an SO the "Contract Items" generation (script) is not working.

The system information states "UI" in both cases and we cannot understand what is causing the creation of not linked to an SO contracts. Manually created contracts are not allowed by the add-on anw:
