New to NetSuite | N/record: record.copy(options) Method
In our previous article, New to NetSuite | Understanding SuiteScript 2.x Modules, we explored the SuiteScript Modules and N/record module, New to NetSuite | N/record Module Overview, which is used to interact with records. Now, we will take a closer look at one of the members of N/record: record.copy(options) Method
The record.copy(options) method creates a new record by duplicating the data from an existing record. This is useful when you need to create a record that is similar to another, without having to manually re-enter all the same information. For example, you can copy a sales order, purchase order, or custom record to quickly generate a new record that inherits the original’s values.
