Intermittent issues with uploading files (attachments) in NetSuite can be especially frustrating and may have several underlying causes. Here are some common reasons for such inconsistent behavior, along with recommended troubleshooting steps:

Possible Reasons for Intermittent File Upload Issues

1. Network Instability

  • Fluctuations in your internet connection can result in timeouts or dropped requests, causing uploads to fail sporadically.

2. Browser-Related Problems

  • Certain browser extensions, ad blockers, or outdated browsers may interfere with NetSuite’s file upload functionality.
  • Browser cache or cookies can sometimes cause inconsistent behavior.

3. File Size and Type

  • Occasionally, files might be near the maximum allowed size or be borderline restricted file types, resulting in only some uploads failing.
