Tax Authority Update for Malaysia Exchange Rate
This notice is intended for customers who are using the Malaysia Electronic Invoicing SuiteApp.
What is Changing?
Starting September 01, 2025, a new Malaysia Exchange Rate field will be added under the Malaysia Electronic Invoicing subtab as per the latest requirement from the Malaysian tax authority. This field will display the exchange rate from the transaction currency to MYR if the subsidiary’s base currency isn’t the Malaysian Ringgit. The exchange rate will be generated when you create or save a transaction.
If the Multi-Currency feature is enabled, the exchange rate will be automatically generated when you do the following:
- Select an entity, and the subsidiary is filled in automatically.
