Action Required: Review Your Walmart Connector Category Mappings
This notice is intended for customers who use the Walmart connector in NetSuite Connector.
What is Changing?
On October 31, 2025, Walmart services will no longer support Item Spec 4.0. Your product categories in the Walmart Connector have been migrated to the new Walmart Item Spec 5. Beginning September 10, 2025, the new mappings will be available for viewing and editing. Posting products using the updated mappings will start on September 17, 2025.
Required Actions
To avoid sync disruptions due to listings errors, you need to do the following before September 30, 2025:
- Review category mappings that were migrated.
- Update product data in NetSuite to meet stricter required attributes.
- Validate listings in Walmart’s item tools.
