New to NetSuite | N/record: record.Record Object
In our previous article, New to NetSuite | Understanding SuiteScript 2.x Modules, we explored the SuiteScript Modules and N/record module, New to NetSuite | N/record Module Overview, which is used to interact with records. Now, we will take a closer look at one of the members of N/record: record.Record Object
record.Record object encapsulates a NetSuite record and lets you create, copy, load, edit, transform, and save records through code.
Standard Mode vs. Dynamic Mode
When you create, copy, load, or transform a record with SuiteScript, you can work in two different modes:
1. Standard Mode
- Fields and sublist line items are not sourced, calculated, or validated until you call
