Restricting Transformations on Pending Approval Return Authorizations

This notice is intended for customers who have used SuiteScript to transform pending approval return authorizations into credit memos. This operation isn’t allowed in the UI, and your account may be impacted by a system change scheduled for release in October 2025.

What is Changing?

After the minor release in October 2025, NetSuite will no longer allow the transformation of a pending approval return authorization into a credit memo using SuiteScript. This update aligns the scripting process with the UI, which already prevents this operation.

This change is intended to improve data consistency and enforce proper approval flows.
