Inventory Valuation Report Missing Items

When I run an inventory valuation report across all inventory, I am missing items. When I filter for a missing item, data does display. We do have a large transaction count. When I try higher level filters, such as the merch hierarchy, the report times out.

What is the best way to ensure I am getting a full valuation?
