Why do the PDFs stored in NetSuite now show up in dark mode rather than their original colours?

I have changed my Windows and NetSuite colour theme to dark to see ig it makes it easier to read. In doing so I now get watermarks showing up as solid images and hiding data on the PDF I want to look at. What setting should I change to allow these documents to display normally?

What you’re experiencing is caused by the dark mode theme—when Windows or NetSuite is set to dark mode, some PDF viewers or browsers may try to display PDFs “in dark mode” as well. This can interfere with PDF backgrounds, watermarks, and transparency, making things like watermarks appear as solid boxes.

How to fix it:

* Try switching your Windows and/or NetSuite display settings back to light mode and then re-open the PDF.
* Also, open the PDF in a dedicated PDF reader (like Adobe Acrobat) rather than the browser—most dedicated readers will display the PDF with its intended colors, regardless of theme.

Currently, NetSuite PDFs are generated with fixed colors/layout, so viewing them in a dark browser/PDF reader can cause these display issues, but the PDF data itself hasn’t changed.
