New to NetSuite | How to Setup Accounts in OneWorld
In NetSuite OneWorld, an account can be linked to one or more specific subsidiaries, limiting its use to only those subsidiaries. However, bank accounts and credit card accounts are restricted to a single subsidiary, so when creating them, you can select only one subsidiary.
Use the following steps to set up accounts in NetSuite OneWorld:
1. Navigate to Setup > Accounting > Manage G/L > Chart of Accounts.
2. Click Edit next to the account you want to assign to subsidiaries.
3. Select one or more subsidiaries as needed.
This allows the account to be used for records and transactions associated with the selected subsidiaries.
