I’m looking for clarification on the difference between the Bin Sequence Number and WMS Pick Seq No fields in NetSuite. Specifically, I’d like to understand: * The functional purpose of each field * Which one takes precedence during WMS wave generation and picking * How bins are sorted when one of the fields is blank * What the fallback behavior is when both fields are blank Any insight into best practices for using these fields together in a WMS environment would be greatly appreciated. Hi @Clement K., Sequence Numbers Bin are used to determine which bins in a warehouse zone take priority when you pick items. When NetSuite WMS suggests bins for order picking, the bins appear in ascending order by bin sequence number. See Pick Task Sorting for Released Orders. Assumptions: Bin Number Sequence Number WMS Pick Seq No Quantity Available Bin 1 3 3 1000 Bin 2 2 2 1000 Bin 3 1 1 1000 Note: Setting either the Sequence Number or the WMS Pick Seq No field will result in both fields being set to the same value. They cannot be different from each other. Sequence numbers are used during bin sorting, to determine the recommended bin for items on a pick task. The Bin with the lower sequence number takes priority over a higher sequence number i.e. Bin 3 will be the Recommended Bin when selecting Pick Task. When users select the Show all bins, the Recommended Bin List Hierarchy will be as follows: Bin 3 - 1st Bin 2 - 2nd Bin 1 - 3rd If these two fields are populated with different values, the Sequence Number Field will prevail i.e. WMS Pick Seq No only sources its Value on the Sequence Number Field. Further, the Sequence Number is the basis of the system in recommending bins. Either of the fields was eradicate from the system because it could have a major upstream/downstream impact. For purposes of setting up bins for picking, please use the Sequence Number field. I hope that this information answers your question. I’m looking for clarification on the difference between the Bin Sequence Number and WMS Pick Seq No fields in NetSuite.

Specifically, I’d like to understand:
