Currency Exchange Rate Conversion for Routing Charges Update
This notice applies to customers using Manufacturing features in NetSuite.
This notice is to inform you of an action you must take with the upcoming NetSuite 2026.1 release.
What is Changing?
Effective with the NetSuite 2026.1 major release, the cost of Manufacturing Charge Items on routings will be converted using the applicable exchange rate for the transaction currency.
Recommended Actions
For each Manufacturing Charge Item used on routings across subsidiaries with different currencies, review the defined costs. Ensure the cost for each charge item (such as labor and machine charges) matches the currency of the related subsidiary. After the upgrade, verify that posted Routing costs for Work Oder Completions and Close are matching expected values in different currency subsidiaries.
