We are testing MRP. One issue we have is the SO line Supply Required By Date is set to the transaction date by default. We often receive orders that do not need to ship, or must not be shipped, early. Therefore, we need the Supply Required By Date to be set to the customer's required date. If we do not do so, we risk shipping to early. And, when we delay shipping, MRP indicates that order is late. The only way we can see to set the Supply Required By Date is manually through the UI. But that isn't practical as orders can have 100 or more lines. I do not see a way to set the Supply Required By Date with a workflow. Can it be set with a script? Does anyone have a sample script? We can set the main line Ship Date. Could use a script to set the line Supply Required By Dates to the Ship Date?
