Inactivate Lease records

Hi

Is it possible to inactivate a lease?

The inactive field is not available on the Lease record.

The reason for inactivating is because we need to recreate the lease since there's zero payments on the original, the system doesn't allow lease modification with zero payments.

Please advise.

Hi @emcee_uk, the ability to inactivate lease records is currently a system limitation. However, there is already an enhancement in place for this feature: Enhancement 624494 Inactivate a Lease Record. For the alternative solution, you may follow the steps below: * Go to Customization > Scripting > Scripted Records * Edit Lease Payments * User Event Scripts, unmark Deployed FAM Lease Payment UE * Click Save * Create CSV file to update the lease payments Include lease payment outside the lease start date * Import: --- From the Import Type list, select Custom Records --- From the Record Type list, select Lease Payments --- Data Handling = Update --- Run Server script = True --- In field mapping: ----- Internal ID <--> Lease Payments: Internal ID ----- Set default value to Yes <--> Lease Payments: Inactive * Go to Customization > Scripting > Scripted Records * Edit Lease Payments * User Event Scripts, mark Deployed FAM Lease Payment UE * Click Save * Process the Lease Modification To support this Enhancement, you can cast your vote on the SuiteIdeas page by following the instructions provided in SuiteAnswers Article: 10054: Voting for Enhancements.
