New to NetSuite | N/record: record.transform(options)Method

In our previous article, New to NetSuite | Understanding SuiteScript 2.x Modules, we explored the SuiteScript Modules and N/record module, New to NetSuite | N/record Module Overview, which is used to interact with records. Now, we will take a closer look at one of the members of N/record: record.transform(options) Method
The record.transform(options) method, which is used to create a new record by transforming an existing record of one type into another.
Syntax
var newRecord = record.transform(options);
Parameters
The options parameter is an object with the following required properties:
- fromType (string): The record type of the source record (e.g., record.Type.SALESORDER).
