New to NetSuite | N/auth: auth.changeEmail(options) Method

In our previous article, New to NetSuite | Understanding SuiteScript 2.x Modules, we explored the SuiteScript Modules and N/record module, New to NetSuite | N/auth Module Overview, which is used to interact with records. Now, we will take a closer look at one of the members of N/auth: auth.changeEmail(options) Method
The auth.changeEmail() method updates the currently logged-in user’s NetSuite email address. This email is also used as the user’s login username.
Common use cases include:
- Allowing users to update their email via a custom Suitelet
- Supporting account-wide or single-account email updates
- Enforcing authentication by requiring the current password
