New to NetSuite | Prerequisites for Installing the Withholding Tax SuiteApp

in Advanced Accounting & OneWorld

Before you install the Withholding Tax SuiteApp in NetSuite, it’s important to confirm your account is properly configured. Completing the prerequisites below helps prevent installation issues and ensures withholding tax can be set up and used correctly.

1. Enable required NetSuite features

Make sure the following features are enabled (Setup > Company > Enable Features) before installing the Withholding Tax SuiteApp:

  • Advanced Taxes
  • Custom Records
  • Server SuiteScript
    • For Server SuiteScript and Client SuiteScript, you must agree to the SuiteCloud Terms of Service when enabling them.
  • Client SuiteScript

2. Make sure that Expand Account Lists is enabled in your account. To enable this preference, go to
