New to NetSuite | Withholding Tax Codes

Withholding tax codes are essential for determining the tax amount applied to various transactions. Setting them up correctly ensures accurate tax calculation and compliance. This guide outlines how to create, modify, and manage withholding tax codes within the system.

To create a withholding tax code, navigate to Setup > Withholding Tax > Tax Codes, then click New.

Select the appropriate Nexus and complete the required fields. These include the tax code name and tax rate which will be used in bills or payments.

• Provide values for the following fields:
  • Tax Code - Enter a name for the tax code.
  • Description - Enter a description for the tax code.
