Unused fields on Transaction Forms

Hello Community!

Is there a way to identify which fields are no longer being used in forms? For example, is it possible to run a saved search to check when a field was last used, or to find fields installed via a bundle that have never been used at all?

That's a great question.

Such a feature would have been very helpful. There isn't anything available that can do that.

In practice, it would be extremely hard to achieve and would be possible only if NetSuite builds a tool to do so, as even with scripting, it will be hard, if not impossible, to achieve.

Thank you for your question. Currently, NetSuite does not provide a native way (via saved search or reports) to identify unused fields, track last usage, or detect bundle fields that were never used.

Workarounds:

* Use saved searches to check if fields have values (to infer usage)
* Perform manual review or test in Sandbox before removing fields
