ALF Print Item Receipt Button is returning blank page

Hi, we were trying to use the Print Item Receipt button in the item receipt record. This is a PDF feature from Advanced Localization bundle. However, whenever we click this button it just returns a blank page and does not produce any PDF. Per checking in the script deployment: customdeploy_alf_su_print_item_receipt, it has an logged error about an invalid folder reference key 437. I cant find any parameter in the script where this folder ID is defined. I tried to update the bundle installed but it is still returning the same error. Anyone who encounters the same? Is there a solution to this?

I noticed that you have also filed a Support case regarding this and has since been resolved. Allow me to share the resolution here as it may help others who run into the same issue.

This behavior is a known issue with ALF caused by a change in the internal folder ID used to store generated PDFs. Since that ID is set during bundle installation and not editable via the UI, it can result in the blank page you’re seeing.

The confirmed workaround is to run a scheduled script (provided by Support) that retrieves the correct folder ID and updates it in the ALF configuration record. Once that’s done, the Print Item Receipt button should start generating PDFs again.
