NSC | Auto-Compute Fields

Users can perform basic calculations directly within currency fields in NetSuite, eliminating the need to use an external calculator. This improves efficiency and speeds up data entry when working with amounts. 

You can enter simple arithmetic expressions, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division right inside the field, and it will automatically compute the result. 

This feature is especially useful for quick calculations during transactions, helping users stay within the workflow without switching tools. 

How It Works: 

1. Enter a calculation directly into a currency field  
2. Press Tab or click outside the field. 
3. It will automatically evaluate and display the result.
