New to NetSuite | Withholding Tax Groups

Withholding tax groups allow multiple tax codes to be combined and applied to a single transaction. These groups help streamline tax calculations by grouping codes that share the same tax base and nexus, even if they belong to different withholding tax types.

To create a withholding tax group, navigate to Setup > Withholding Tax > Tax Groups, then click New.

Choose the appropriate Nexus where the group will be applied. Next, fill in the required details such as the group Name, which will be used in transactions, and a brief description. The system will automatically calculate the total rate by summing the rates of the included tax codes, considering their respective percentage bases.
