NSC | Unable to Find a Custom Entity Field in Transaction Saved Search Results
Overview
Custom fields are commonly used in NetSuite Saved Searches to improve reporting and transaction visibility. However, there are situations where a newly created custom field does not immediately appear in the Saved Search field list.
Scenario
An administrator created a new Custom Entity Field for Vendors and wanted to add it as a column in a Transaction Saved Search.
Although the field was created successfully and access permissions were set correctly, the field did not appear in the Saved Search Results field list.
Solution
The issue was resolved by clearing the browser cache.
After clearing the cache and refreshing the Saved Search page, the newly created Custom Entity Field appeared successfully in the Vendor Fields list.
