NSC | Resolve Missing Subsidiary Information on Email Templates for Custom Role
Use Case:
When sending Invoice email notifications using an Email Template, the Subsidiary field may appear blank in the email content when the sender is using a Custom Role.
This occurs because the Custom Role does not have permission to view Subsidiary records. Granting the appropriate permission resolves the issue and allows the Subsidiary information to display correctly in the email template.
How It Works:
- Log in using the Administrator role
- Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
- Locate the affected Custom Role and click Edit
- Click the Permissions subtab
- Select the Lists tab
- Add the following permission:
- Permission: Subsidiaries
