New to NetSuite | Bundle Installation Basics 

in SuiteBuilder & SuiteBundler

Bundles in NetSuite allow you to install customizations such as custom fields, scripts, workflows, forms, and other configurations into your account. They are commonly used to move customizations between accounts or to install solutions from NetSuite or third-party providers. 

Understanding how bundle installation works helps ensure that customizations are properly deployed and managed. 

What is a Bundle? 

A bundle is a package of NetSuite customizations that can be installed into another NetSuite account. Bundles are often used to: 

  • Move customizations from Sandbox to Production 
  • Share solutions between accounts 
  • Install partner or SuiteApp solutions 
  • Deploy scripts, workflows, and custom records 

Bundles help keep implementations consistent and reduce the need to manually recreate customizations.
