New To NetSuite | Custom Field: Store Value
Overview
When creating custom fields in NetSuite, the Store Value checkbox controls whether the field’s value is saved directly on the record or dynamically calculated each time the record is viewed. The Store Value option is part of custom field configuration within SuiteBuilder.
This setting can affect:
- Reporting
- Saved Searches
- Workflows
- Historical data tracking
