Sometimes users need a guided internal page in NetSuite that does not fit well into a standard record form. In these cases, a Suitelet may be a good option. 

A Suitelet can be used to create a custom NetSuite page where users can enter information, review results, or complete a controlled process. 

Scenario 

A business team needs an internal page to guide users through a specific task. 

Examples may include: 

  • selecting filters before processing records 
  • entering request details in a controlled form 
  • reviewing calculated results before submitting 
  • launching a custom approval or review process 
  • showing a guided page for a process that does not belong on one standard record
