NSC | Why the Class Field does not appear on Item Fulfillments
Scenario
You customize an Item Fulfillment form and expect the Class field to appear on the transaction, but the field is missing even after:
- Enabling the field on the form customization.
- Reviewing the transaction form configuration.
This can be confusing because the field appears available in some areas of NetSuite, but not on the Item Fulfillment record itself.
Solution
This behavior is currently tied to a NetSuite system limitation related to classification fields on Item Fulfillment records.
This is currently logged under Enhancement 173774 Item Fulfillment > Ability to show the Department field on the main section.
