NSC | Why a Custom Form does not appear in the Form selector
Scenario
A custom form is created successfully, but users cannot find it in the Custom Form selector on a transaction, entity, or record.
In many cases:
- The form was recently created or modified.
- The form works for some users but not others.
- The form appears in customization lists but not during record entry.
This is a common issue caused by form restrictions, role permissions, or form configuration settings.
Solution
Review the custom form configuration and access settings that control form availability.
Common areas to check include:
- Form is marked as Inactive
- Open the custom form record.
- Confirm the Inactive checkbox is not enabled.
