NSC | Why a Workflow Condition is always False
Scenario
A workflow condition appears to be configured correctly, but it never evaluates to true.
Common symptoms include:
- The workflow never transitions to the next state.
- Workflow actions never trigger.
- Buttons or fields controlled by the workflow never appear.
- Testing different records still produces the same result.
This issue is common in SuiteFlow when field values, logic configuration, or execution timing do not behave as expected.
Solution
Review the workflow condition setup carefully to identify why the condition never evaluates as true.
Common causes include:
- Incorrect Field Selection
- Verify the condition references the correct field.
- Similar field names or custom fields can easily be confused.
