New to NetSuite | N/record: Column.isSortable Property

In our previous article, New to NetSuite | Understanding SuiteScript 2.x Modules, we explored the SuiteScript Modules and N/record module, New to NetSuite | N/record Module Overview, which is used to interact with records. Now, we will take a closer look at one of the members of N/record: Column.isSortable Property
The Column.isSortable is a boolean property on a search.Column object. It indicates whether the column can be used in an orderBy clause or for sorting the results of a SuiteScript search.
- true - The column supports sorting.
- false - The column does not support sorting.
This is especially useful when dynamically building searches or validating whether a column can safely be used in an orderBy clause.
