Picking Inventory for Multiple Work Orders Simultaneously
Greetings,
Has anyone found a viable solution for multi-order picking across Work Orders in NetSuite?
Additionally, I have a question regarding the over-picking feature. In a scenario where raw material is over-picked for a Work Order, can the excess quantity be consumed by subsequent Work Orders that require the same material without performing additional pick tasks?
For example, if a picker retrieves 100 units for Work Order A but only 80 units are required, can the remaining 20 units be used to fulfill material requirements for Work Orders B and C, or would separate picks still be required for those Work Orders?
Any insights or best practices would be greatly appreciated.
