Complex Discount/Pricing
looking for options to manage complex discounts/pricing for items on sales orders? Each customer could have one or multiple cumulative discounts. For example, a customer may get a standard 5% or 10% discount dependent on item. On top of that they could also get a 3% defective discount. And a 10% discount for purchases from a trade show. The tradeshow discount may be dependent on the items, total order amount, and a date range.
I have looked at Price Levels, Discount Items, Promotions and Advanced Pricing. None seems to give us the flexibility we are looking for or would require multiple methods. We need something like the rules in Advanced Pricing but with more flexibility and stack ability.
